Consultancy

Compalistics offer a wide ranging consultancy service to clients with combustion and high temperature environment related problems, often bringing our specialist knowledge and expertise in to fields where there is little or no understanding of combustion and how this may impact on products, to using advanced thermodynamic modelling techniques to provide solutions.

Testing

Compalistics are able to offer a comprehensive range of test and monitoring services including combustion gas analysis to assess how combustion impacts on a product.

Problem Solving

Many clients require fundamental help in understanding the nature of a combustion issue and in developing appropriate solutions. While combustion may be at the heart of the problem, solutions often require the advanced engineering and materials knowledge that Compalistics can provide. Acoustics and ballistics are clearly extensions of our combustion specialisations, for example, using our heat transfer expertise is fundamental to providing solutions to acoustic and vibration challenges.

Product Development

Compalistics has a successful track record in developing specialist products under contract for clients, undertaking development from ‘invention’ through to production. The company also has successfully developed a number of its own proprietary products that are subject to patent and are manufactured under licence.

Thermodynamic Modelling

Modelling is an advanced suite of techniques used to predict thermodynamic properties. Using computer modelling we are able to understand processes and predict outcomes, providing us with a key tool to investigate alternative scenarios in a non destructive way. It can also be used to refine developments using theoretical constructs that would be impractical to develop experimentally.
