Explosives are a specialist controlled form of combustion and are a useful tool to simulate applications where high energy release combustion is a feature. To allow Compalistics to investigate combustion related scenarios the company holds a Federal ATF explosives manufacturers license.
Compalistics have developed specialist test rigs to allow the safe use of explosives in combustion tests, generating both high temperature and high velocity gas that would be difficult to interpret without controlled test environments.
